Info on the Event
Have you ever wanted to record your family's story?
We've heard from a number of people who've had the desire to record meaningful stories (their own stories, parents, grandparents, etc.) but were unsure how to get started. Or they're discouraged because the loved one's no longer around, and they'll say something like, "I wish we would've done this while they were still here."
This "Noteworthy" webinar is here to encourage you to begin the storytelling process and assure you that it's never too late. Stories are what keep a person's memory alive for future generations. They tell us who they were, what they cared about, what they were like.
Who better to join us for this discussion than two of the siblings/authors (Kim Jockl and Melody Smith) of Safe Landing. The Borchers siblings tragically lost their parents on American Airlines Flight 191, but have honored their parents' legacy and kept their memory alive 40+ years later with two incredible books (one hardcover "family" edition and a paperback version available to the public).
And it all started by meeting every Thursday to share stories, laugh, cry, and eat lunch together. We hope you'll enjoy this discussion and draw inspiration for your own "Noteworthy" family story adventure.
